The venue is kid friendly and openly welcomes visitors, with the local pickleball community regularly advertising open play through the Gold Beach Chamber of Commerce and the local newspaper.

Fee: Contribution kitty $2.00 per player to help school defray electricity costs. Comment: Pickleball started in Gold Beach in 2014 by Dave and Marlene Lovenguth. They have since moved. Mary Stansell now organizes times and places to play. Pickleball is advertised in the local paper and also on the Chamber of Commerce Web Page. Several players passing through on vacation come and join us. Visitors always welcome.
