Delete Your Pickleball Plus Account

Delete in the app (Android and iOS)

1. Open Pickleball Plus and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap the button at the top right to open Settings.
4. Tap Account.
5. Tap Delete Account.
6. Type DELETE to confirm.

Delete on the website

1. Sign in at pickleballplusapp.com/profile/edit.
2. Scroll to Danger zone and click Delete account.
3. Type DELETE, then enter your password.

Can't sign in?

Email team@pickleballplusapp.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in, email address, and password
• Your profile: name, username, photo, home court, and saved courts
• Players you follow and players who follow you
• Direct messages, on both sides of the conversation
• Group memberships, your posts, comments, events, RSVPs, and votes
• Groups where you are the only member, with their chat
• Your court reviews and ratings
• Your win-loss and rating record, and games no one else played in
• Block lists, feedback, and feature requests you sent
• Your subscription record and newsletter subscription

What is kept without your name

Some records are shared with other players. We keep them, but remove your name, photo, and account ID:

• Games you played with others keep the score. You appear as “Deleted player.”
• Messages you sent in group chats keep their text.
• Groups you created that others belong to stay open.
• Courts you added or edited stay listed.
• Court searches you made, with no link to you.
• Reports you filed about other users or courts.

What is kept, and for how long

• Reports about your account are kept for safety and moderation.
• A deletion record (your account ID and the date) is kept so the deleted data is never recreated. It holds no name or email.
• Court edit history keeps your account ID, with no name or email, so we can repair vandalized court listings.
• Court photos you uploaded stay on the court listing. They are not linked to you.
• Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days.
• Purchase records are kept by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Pickleball Plus PRO subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your iPhone's Settings app, so you are not charged again.
