About this court
Thousand Trails Campground in Wilmington, Ohio, United States, provides pickleball access as part of a broader recreational package at its State Route 380 property, drawing a 4.3 Google rating from 274 reviews. The single outdoor court features a grass surface and is listed in good condition, though players note the court shows signs of age — including cracks and grass growing through the surface. Despite this, it remains lined and playable, making it a worthwhile option for members who want to pick up a game during their stay. Court access is limited to campground members and guests, with hours running Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; the court is closed on weekends. Fees are tied to standard campground charges rather than a separate court fee. The surrounding amenities are a notable draw: the grounds include a pool, hot tub, showers, restrooms, and lights, all within a setting visitors describe as quiet, clean, and family friendly. Reviewer sentiment skews positive toward the campground's overall atmosphere, with guests frequently highlighting the welcoming community of fellow members and the helpfulness of the front desk staff. The pool receives consistent praise as a clean, kid-friendly feature. For pickleball players on a camping trip through southwestern Ohio, Thousand Trails offers a functional if unpolished court option, best suited to casual rallies rather than competitive play.

Phone: 937.382.5883 Schedule: daylight hours - no lights Fee: Campground fees Comment: We were originally told they didn't have courts here, and when we saw them, there were quite a few cracks, with grass growing up, etc. However, they have lines, and we were able to play here for the week we stayed in the park. It's not the best court, but it was definitely playable, and better than nothing.
