About this court
Perched at the top of a mountain in Tuckasegee, NC, Bear Lake Reserve offers pickleball on 4 outdoor courts framed by towering pine trees and ample parking. The elevation naturally moderates temperatures to around 75°F across three seasons, creating comfortable playing conditions from spring through fall. Access is membership-based with a Pay to Play structure, and restrooms are available on site. The programming here is notably active: Round Robin Mixer events are held five days a week — Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — from 9 to 10:30am. Pickleball clinics are also scheduled on Tuesday and Friday afternoons and Sunday mornings, giving members consistent opportunities to develop their game alongside organized group play.
