About this court
Gille Park brings free outdoor pickleball to Forked River, NJ, with 3 public courts available every day of the week from 7:30 AM to 7:33 PM. Situated at 61 Manchester Ave in Lacey Township, the facility carries a strong 4.6-star Google rating based on 537 reviews, and courts are described as being in good condition. Pickleball here is played on multi-use tennis courts with chalked boundary lines and tennis nets — a setup that keeps the space flexible for multiple sports throughout the day. Organized play runs on Mondays and Thursdays from 6–8 PM at no cost, and paddles are provided, making it accessible for newcomers and seasoned players from the Forked River and Lanoka Harbor areas. The courts are accessed via an entrance off Western Blvd. On-site amenities include restrooms, a water fountain, and a picnic area, rounding out the kid-friendly, family-oriented atmosphere the park is known for. Reviewers across the United States frequently highlight the park's cleanliness and broad appeal, with players noting it suits people of all ages and skill levels. The multi-sport environment — which also includes a walking track, basketball courts, and more — means pickleball fits naturally into a larger community recreation hub. Organized outdoor sessions typically run June through September, after which play shifts indoors to Lacey Township Middle School for the cooler months.
