About this court
Four dedicated outdoor pickleball courts at Redwood Park in Troy, MI draw a steady crowd of players throughout the week, offering free public access daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The courts, built on asphalt and opened in August 2016, are rated 4.4 out of 5 across 62 Google reviews — a solid mark reflecting consistently good conditions. The courts are fenced, though players note that wind screens are absent on three sides, which is worth keeping in mind during breezy Michigan days. Popularity is a recurring theme in visitor feedback: players frequently mention that all four courts see heavy use, with people waiting for open slots during busy periods. Arriving early or on off-peak weekday mornings is a practical approach for those seeking shorter waits. The park is free to play with no reservation required, making it an accessible choice for both regulars and first-time visitors. Beyond the courts, Redwood Park in the United States — tucked between Rochester Road and Stephenson Highway near 14 and 15 Mile Roads — offers a kid-friendly environment with a small playground, open field, picnic shelter, and portable restroom facilities. Parking is limited, so carpooling can help during high-traffic times. For families or players looking to mix a casual pickleball session with outdoor recreation, Redwood Park covers the essentials without any cost barrier.
