Harahan Gym/Soniat Playground brings public pickleball to Harahan, LA through 3 indoor, mixed courts situated at the corner of Hickory Ave. and 10th Street. Open seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the facility operates on a pay-to-play model with a modest $5.00 monthly fee. Courts are organized by skill level, and loaner nets, balls, and paddles are available on-site alongside restroom access. The program is oriented toward players aged 50 and older, with instruction provided for those new to the game. Due to growing demand, the gym has temporarily closed to new local members, though out-of-town visitors are encouraged to call ahead for updates.
