About this court

Hughes Courts brings free public pickleball to Topeka, KS across 18 outdoor courts at 8th and Orleans, open every day from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Structured play opportunities are built into the weekly schedule: weekday open play kicks off at 8:00 AM and again at 4:00 PM each afternoon, Sunday afternoon sessions start at 1:00 PM, and Saturday mornings feature Round-Robin play beginning at 9:00 AM — players are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in. For those newer to the sport, Wednesday lessons offered during June at 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM provide a welcoming entry point into the game at no charge.
