Sawtooth Middle School in Meridian, ID offers 6 outdoor pickleball courts available to the public at no charge. The courts are taped dual-use surfaces shared with tennis, so players must lower the net center to 34 inches using the built-in crank on each net — and return it to 36 inches before leaving. Play generally begins at 9 a.m. and runs through noon, with evening sessions available until dark for those who work during the day. There are six taped courts and are dual use courts, first come first to play. Play generally starts at 9am. The nets must be lowered in the center to 34". Each net has it's own crank so all you need is a tape measure but be sure to raise the net's center back to 36" before your leave for the tennis players.
