About this court
Set along Old Topanga Canyon Road in Topanga, CA, United States, Big Rock Ranch brings pickleball to a scenic, membership-based ranch facility with 2 outdoor courts currently rated 4.8 out of 5 across 22 Google reviews. Courts are maintained in good condition and the venue supports open play, drop-in play, and lessons—covering a range of player needs from casual rallying to structured skill-building. Weekend hours stretch from 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM, while weekday access runs 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering members notable scheduling flexibility throughout the week. The facility has roots in an early community-building effort: Big Rock Ranch introduced pickleball to campers through its Cali-Camp program and has been working to establish a dedicated racquet club encompassing both tennis and pickleball. Players interested in scheduling court time are encouraged to call ahead. Visitors note that the courts attract consistent foot traffic—a sign of a lively community—though players arriving with a specific group should expect to share space or wait during peak times. Those who have attended midweek clinic sessions mention that coaches provide helpful, game-specific feedback in a welcoming environment, reflecting the broadly friendly atmosphere players describe across reviews.
Notes
Contact: Pam Hawley Phone: 310-455-0404 Schedule: Call to schedule Comment: Big Rock Ranch, home of Cali-Camp at Big Rock Ranch, introduced pickleball to our campers last summer and will run it again this coming 2012 summer. As the camp director I introduced and taught pickleball to both campers and staff and it has taken off. I was looking for any other pickleball players in the San Fernando Valley, but found none. I would like to offer our courts to interested players. We are in the process of setting up a Racquet club for Tennis and Pickleball. Call for information.
