Ojai, CA's Ojai Pickleball Group offers four dedicated outdoor courts in excellent condition at 401 S Ventura Road, drawing a local membership of around 150 players. All courts are purpose-built with permanent nets — meaning no overlapping tennis lines — and the public facility carries a perfect 5.0 Google rating. Open play is available Tuesday through Friday and Sunday, with morning sessions starting at 8:30 AM and afternoon sessions running from 2:00 PM onward. Equipment rental is also available on-site, making the location accessible to newer players. Visitors note a welcoming mix of beginner and experienced players, as well as a scenic, tree-lined setting.
Notes
Local group of about 150 play at this location. It’s important to know there are specific times to per City Hall. Morning hours are 830 to 11:30 AM, afternoon hours or 2:30 PM until 6:30 PM. The courts are new and in excellent condition. Our Ambassador is Tim Krout.
