Mount Shasta, CA is home to 4 free, public pickleball courts at 1000 Siskiyou Lake Boulevard, set alongside the scenic Mt. Shasta Resort. The courts are tennis courts painted with blue pickleball lines, currently in good condition. Scheduled open play runs spring and summer on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays beginning at 9am. Players note a welcoming, social atmosphere with a dedicated local group that frequently arranges extra play days beyond the posted schedule. Visitors arriving outside scheduled hours are encouraged to contact organizer Sooz Waller at 530-859-3294 to arrange a game. The surrounding resort grounds include a golf course, restaurant, lounge, lake access, and hiking trails, making it easy to build a full trip around your court time. Winter players can also find indoor options at the Yreka YMCA on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.

Enjoy the lake and great hiking trails. Make a vacation out of it. Also, call on our non-playing days because most of us are addicted and try to arrange for additional days of play. We are working on turning one tennis court into four pb courts.
