About this court
Pickleball in Sahuarita, AZ found a permanent home at Anza Trail Tennis Courts, a free public facility organized through a partnership between the Southern Arizona Pickleball Association (SAPA) and Sahuarita Parks & Recreation. Situated at 15490 S. Rancho Sahuarita Blvd in the United States, the site offers 5 outdoor courts in good condition — 4 with permanently marked pickleball lines and a 5th court that uses an existing tennis net, which sags to the appropriate pickleball height. A newly installed 8' x 12' professional backboard adds an extra training element to the complex. The courts are lit for evening play, keeping them active until 10:00 PM nightly, while Saturday and Sunday access opens as early as 7:00 AM. Weekday hours run 4:00–10:00 PM, and players should keep in mind that courts are unavailable during school hours. Competitive play is scheduled every Saturday starting at 9:00 AM, welcoming all ages at no fee. Visitors mention the broader park environment as a draw — the site is tagged as kid-friendly and multi-sport, with a pool, picnic area, and water access nearby, and players note the well-maintained grounds and family-friendly atmosphere. Rated 4.3 across 115 Google reviews, Anza Trail is a solid community-oriented spot for both casual and competitive pickleball in southern Arizona.
