Canmore, AB's Cougar Creek Skating Rink provides 3 painted outdoor pickleball courts on a converted multi-use skating rink at Elk Run Blvd and Canyon Road. The public facility shifts to summer sports — including pickleball, ball hockey, and basketball — when the ice is out. Players looking to use the courts should come prepared with their own nets and equipment, as no gear is supplied on-site. It's worth noting that organized play no longer takes place here, so the courts cater primarily to drop-in groups arranging their own informal games.
